4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, two RBI, and a run scored in a 7-3 win over the Diamondbacks on Thursday. Story picked up both his hits in the first two innings of the ball game with an RBI double in the bottom of the first and an RBI triple in the second inning. Both hits came against D-Backs starter Merrill Kelly, who was hammered for seven runs (six earned). Story has gotten off to a slow start this season with a .226/.250/.355 batting line and no home runs 31 at-bats. It's nothing fantasy managers should be concerned about, for now, he should pick it up soon. The Rockies head to San Francisco for a three-game set that starts on Friday.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
