2 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder Trevor Story (hand) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays with an apparent right-hand injury. He was hit by a pitch in the right hand during the fifth inning and was removed from the game. The 29-year-old was unable to finish his at-bat and was replaced in the game by Jeter Downs. He went 0-for-1 before exiting. Story will be evaluated and most likely undergo x-rays after the game. The severity of Story's injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Downs would see an uptick in playing time if Story is forced to miss additional time. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
