3 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story busted loose at the dish on Thursday night by smacking three home runs as his club defeated the Mariners 12-6. He slugged a pair of two-run bombs off starter George Kirby and later added a three-run tater to finish the game going 4-for-4 with five runs scored and seven RBI while also adding a stolen base for good measure. Red Sox fans and fantasy managers alike have long awaited this breakout performance as the 29-year-old now sits with five home runs, 19 runs, 23 RBI, five steals, and a .230 BA through 33 games. Hopefully this game will put an end to his sluggish start to the 2022 campaign as there is still plenty of season left to make up for his early losses.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
