Trevor Story Goes Yard, Swipes A Bag In Loss
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two runs scored, a stolen base, and was hit by a pitch in a 10-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Story led off the top of the fourth inning by getting hit by a pitch and stealing second base. He would score off of a Brendan Rodgers single later that frame. He then swatted his ninth homer of the season in the top of the fifth inning off of Adrian Houser, a two-run shot, that put the Rockies up 4-3. The 28-year-old has four long balls over the last seven games and is now slashing .254/.328/.446 with nine home runs, 34 RBI, and 14 stolen bases over 240 at-bats. He's starting to turn things around at the dish after a slow start this year.
