Trevor Story Has Right Hand Contusion
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Boston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story (hand) was diagnosed with a right hand contusion after being hit by a pitch on Tuesday and leaving the game early against the Tampa Bay Rays. It seems fortunate for Story, but he'll undergo X-rays as well. For now, fantasy managers should consider the 29-year-old to be day-to-day. Before leaving the contest, Story was 0-for-1. He was replaced at the keystone by Jeter Downs. Story entered the day hitting just .222/.290/.425 in his first season with the Red Sox, but he has provided plenty of counting stats with 15 home runs, 58 RBI, 49 runs scored and 10 stolen bases.
