Trevor Story Homers, Drives In Two Runs
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a sacrifice fly, and two RBI in a 3-2 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Story put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the first inning with a solo blast off of Carlos Martinez. He would add another RBI with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth that tied the game at 2-2. The 28-year-old shortstop has picked it up at the dish lately after a slow start to the season. He's now slashing .266/.327/.455 to go along with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, and 15 stolen bases over 266 at-bats on the year.
