6 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (elbow) left the game early with right elbow soreness on Monday and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday. The fact that Story left in the middle of his at-bat can't be a good sign, but we'll wait to find out more about his injury on Tuesday. Story has been one of the best overall players in baseball this year and is an MVP candidate in the National League with his .288/.343/.550 slash line and 33 home runs, 81 runs scored, 102 RBI and 26 stolen bases. It'd be a huge blow to fantasy owners and the Rockies playoff chances if Story is dealing with a serious injury.
