6 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (elbow) is facing potential damage to the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow, according to sources. The Rockies are waiting for an official diagnosis, but this looks like season-ending injury and one that could require Tommy John surgery, which would compromise Story's entire 2019 season. That's a massive blow to the Rockies playoff chances and Story's fantasy owners to end the season. The 25-year-old has contributed across the board, hitting .288/.343/.550 with 33 home runs, 102 RBI, 81 runs scored and 26 stolen bases.
