3 years agoThe Colorado Rockies are reportedly "engaged" with multiple teams about a potential deal for star shortstop Trevor Story. According to sources, "six to eight teams have "engaged" the Rockies about a trade for the two-time all-star shortstop, but declined to reveal which teams those are." Story is an impending free agent and is unlikely to be re-signed by the Rockies before the July 31 trade deadline. The 28-year-old would provide an offensive boost wherever he lands after slashing .242/.315/.428 with 11 homers, 43 RBI, and 17 stolen bases across 336 plate appearances in 2021.
