6 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story has been named National League Player of the Week. This follows teammate Nolan Arenado, who took home the honors last week. Story went absolutely ballistic this week, slashing .524/.583/1.048 with nine runs scored, three doubles, a triple, two home runs and seven RBI. The 26-year-old is firmly entrenched as the best shortstop in the game at the moment and is showing no signs of slowing down. Not that it needs to be said, but keep him locked into your lineups.--Joseph Magazzinich
