Trevor Story On The Bench Thursday

2 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Texas Rangers. It's just a regular day of rest for Story. Since returning from the injured list on Aug. 27, he's gone 7-for-15 (.467) with no homers or RBI and two runs scored in four games played. Fantasy managers are hoping that Story will be able to finish out the year strong. He's currently slashing .233/.299/.429 with 15 home runs, 58 RBI, 51 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 322 at-bats in his first year with Boston. Christian Arroyo is starting at the keystone and hitting sixth on Thursday against Rangers right-hander Glenn Otto. Arroyo has been hitting well the last 14 days, going 12-for-39 (.308) with no homers, two RBI, two stolen bases and five runs scored in nine games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
