Trevor Story Singles And Swipes A Bag On Monday
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 1-for-4 with a single and a stolen base in a 7-0 loss to the Padres on Monday. Story picked up a single and swiped his seventh bag of the season in the top of the fourth inning. It was his only hit of the game and one of just four hits that the Rockies could muster against Yu Darvish and company. The 28-year-old shortstop is slashing .267/.341/.440 with 10 doubles, four home runs, 21 RBI, and seven stolen bases over 150 at-bats so far this season. While those numbers are very solid, they're a bit underwhelming for Story, who had high expectations from a fantasy perspective. His power numbers should start to creep up as the weather warms in Colorado, though, so there isn't much to worry about moving forward.
