3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story's trade market has become much more active over the last 24 hours according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. The New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants are among the interested clubs, Morosi added. Both clubs make sense as a potential landing spot for the 28-year-old shortstop. He's been underwhelming this season as far as his rate stats are concerned with a .240/.311/.422 batting line but he's added 12 home runs, 46 RBI, 17 stolen bases, and 47 runs scored over 325 at-bats. Story would be leaving the friendly confines of Coors Field but would see much better protection while hitting in the middle of a contending lineup. This won't be the last update we get on Story ahead of Friday's trade deadline.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
