Trevor Williams Almost Ready For Rehab
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Trevor Williams (appendix) is nearing a rehab assignment. The right-hander has been out since the beginning of June after undergoing an emergency appendectomy, and he most recently threw a simulated inning off the bump on Tuesday. Alec Mills has been filling in as a member of the rotation and is worth a look in some fantasy formats, with the 29-year old sporting a 3-1 record throughout four starts to go along with a 5.18 ERA and 24 strikeouts this season.
