Trevor Williams Hit Hard In No-Decision
4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Trevor Williams put together a poor performance in the Cubs loss on Sunday versus the Cincinnati Reds. Williams picked up the no-decision and was hurt by the longball in this contest. Williams allowed three home runs in the bottom of the third inning and would be yanked with two runners on and two outs in the inning. His final line would be 2 2/3 with six hits, six runs, four walks and two strikeouts. The six runs would end his streak of allowing two or fewer runs in four consecutive starts. Williams offers his most value as a streamer and will carry a 6.00 ERA into a matchup with his former team the Pittsburgh Pirates. Williams allowed five runs in his first start against the Pirates earlier this season, but will have a favorable matchup and could be considered for DFS or streaming on Saturday.
