Trevor Williams K’s Six On Thursday
4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Trevor Williams went five innings in a no decision on Thursday versus the New York Mets. Williams allowed five hits, two runs, one walk and struck out six on the evening. The veteran has now allowed two runs or less in three of his four starts and owns a 4.66 ERA. Williams has performed well with his new club and is worth a look in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues, but is best served as a streamer. His next start will be on Tuesday versus a tough Atlanta Braves lineup on the road.
