Trevor Williams Picks Up Another No-Decision
4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Trevor Williams picked up a no-decision on Thursday. The Cubs would win the ballgame, but Williams fell one out short of qualifying for his third victory. On the afternoon, Williams allowed five hits, two runs, two walks and struck out five. Williams was in control for most of his outing and settled down after Josh Bell and Kyle Schwarber hit back-to-back home runs in the top of the first inning. The outing was the longest that Williams has stayed in a game in the month of May and he is now 2-2 with a 5.97 ERA. Williams will face the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday and is a risky option for DFS in a favorable matchup.
