Trevor Williams Picks Up Second Win of Season
7 years agoAlthough he wasn't particularly sharp, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Trevor Williams did enough to pick up his second win in as many starts on Friday against the Cincinnati Reds. The right-hander gave up 10 hits and a walk in 5 1/3 innings but limited the damage to only two runs and collected four strikeouts. While Williams carries a 1.59 ERA through two outings, his high WHIP (1.41) and lack of strikeouts (five in 11 1/3 innings) make him hard to trust for fantasy purposes outside of deep NL-only leagues.
