3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Trevor Williams has been scratched from his scheduled start on Monday due to an emergency appendectomy. It's uncertain if this will be the only start Williams will miss or if he'll land on the injured list. This season, Williams owns a 5.36 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 49/20 K/BB ratio across 43 2/3 innings in 10 starts. The Cubs have not named a starter to take Williams' spot in the rotation.
