7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Trevor Williams turned in another strong start on Thursday to pick up his third win in as many outings in 2018. The right-hander went six innings against a strong Chicago Cubs offense and allowed only one run on four hits and a walk while punching out five. The only damage against Williams came in the bottom of the fourth inning when Kyle Schwarber hit a solo home run. Despite the promising beginning to the season, fantasy owners should approach him with skepticism due to his low strikeout rate (14.5 percent), high walk rate (10.1 percent) and unsustainably high strand rate (91.8 percent). Williams will draw the Colorado Rockies at home his next time on the hill.--Matt Wilkes
