6 years agoChicago Bears tight end Trey Burton will try and snap out of a month-long slump when he takes on a Rams defense in Week 14 that is allowing the ninth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Burton has failed to post a touchdown over his last four games and has only nine receptions for 77 yards during that span. Burton held an active role in the red zone offense during the first half of the season but has completely disappeared from the game plan. The return of quarterback Mitch Trubisky this Sunday night will certainly help and the fact that the Rams defense has allowed four touchdowns to tight ends since Week 7 makes for an intriguing matchup for fantasy owners. Burton is still a volatile play for Week 14 but this game against the Rams represents the best matchup the tight end has seen in over a month.--Joey C - RotoBaller
