Trey Burton May Play Important Role
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich says that he envisions tight end Trey Burton stepping into the role that Eric Ebron had the past two seasons. Burton and Ebron are different styles of tight end, but Reich believes the team will still be able to take advantage of Burton's strengths in his role as the No. 2 tight end on a team that has made use of multiple tight ends over the past few years. Ebron, for example, averaged six targets per game over his two years with the Colts. If Burton approaches a number close to that, he could finish as a fantasy TE2 and have some streaming upside during bye weeks. He could wind up being even more valuable if Jack Doyle misses time. Still, Burton's own injury concerns are pretty massive, making him a risky fantasy pick, though upside is there as a late-round option.
