6 years agoChicago Bears tight end Trey Burton is close to returning to practice but is still not at full speed. Burton is still recovering from sports hernia surgery and is ramping up his workouts. The talented tight end returned to practice but was unhappy with where his body strength was so the Bears have held him out so he can train. Burton is an important part of the Bears offensive scheme and the tight end position currently lacks depth on the roster. Burton, barring a setback, is still expected to be ready when the Bears take the field September 5 against the Packers.--Joey C - RotoBaller
