Trey Mancini Back In Lineup Tuesday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Trey Mancini (hand) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday as the designated hitter, and he's hitting second against Washington Nationals right-hander Erick Fedde. Mancini has been out in four of the team's last six games due to right hand soreness, but he's back in there after Monday's off day. The 30-year-old has been solid on the season with a .283/.364/.416 slash line and six home runs and 25 RBI in 258 plate appearances, but Mancini is hitting just .208 (10-for-48) with three home runs and seven RBI in 13 games in the month of June. He's also struck out 14 times in 56 plate appearances. Hopefully, Mancini is finally past his hand issues.
