Trey Mancini Back In The Lineup Tuesday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini (ribs) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday, serving as the designated hitter and batting second against Minnesota Twins right-hander Joe Ryan. Mancini missed three straight games due to soreness in his ribs that was caused when he crashed into the outfield wall, but the injury wasn't serious enough to put him on the injured list. The 30-year-old slugger is off to a bit of a slow start this year, going 17-for-76 with only one home run, eight RBI and five runs scored in 20 games played. Tyler Nevin, who served as the DH on Monday, is at third base and is hitting seventh for the Orioles on Tuesday.
