Trey Mancini Out Against Twins
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Trey Mancini is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Minnesota Twins. Mancini has now been out of Baltimore's lineup twice in the last three games after he was hit on the hand by a pitch last weekend. The 30-year-old's name has come up in trade talks recently, with the New York Mets interested in him, but as far as we know, no trade is imminent. His counting stats don't stand out, but Mancini has been solid for fantasy managers with a .280/.356/.421 slash line, seven home runs, 30 RBI and 30 runs scored in 295 plate appearances over 68 games. Ryan Mountcastle is at first base and is batting cleanup on Friday, while Anthony Santander is the designated hitter and is batting third against Twins right-hander Joe Ryan.
