Trey McBride Dealing With Sore Back
2 years agoArizona Cardinals rookie tight end Trey McBride (back) has been resting the last couple days at training camp because of a sore back, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The head coach wants McBride to be ready for the first preseason game next week on Aug. 12 so that he can start getting repetitions and acclimated to the speed of the NFL game. McBride was the first tight end to come off the board in this year's draft in the second round, but it will still be a uphill climb for him to come away with much fantasy value in his first NFL season while being behind Zach Ertz on the depth chart. The Cardinals also have Maxx Williams, who just returned from his knee injury, and he was having a career year in 2021 before his injury.
