Trey Ragas Leads Rams in Rushing
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Trey Ragas led the team with 52 rushing yards on 11 carries during Saturday's 16-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the preseason finale. He also caught one pass for a single yard. The second-year ball carrier signed with LA on July 29 after spending most of 2021 on the Raiders practice squad. Ragas is considered a long shot to make the final roster cuts. Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson are set as the Rams' No. 1 and 2 running backs, and they did not play at all in the preseason. Jake Funk started each of the Rams' preseason games, indicating that he's either the No. 3 or No. 4 RB. The Rams' fourth-round draft pick Kyren Williams missed all of the preseason while rehabbing from a foot injury suffered in OTAs, but he should be back at practice before Week 1. For fantasy managers, the real question about the Rams backfield is how carries will be split between Akers and Henderson.
