Treylon Burks Projects As No. 3 Receiver
2 years agoTennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks realistically projects as the team's No. 3 receiver to start the season because Nick Westbrook-Ikhine continues to make strides as a playmaker. Robert Woods would have to have a setback in his recovery from a knee injury for him not to be the No. 1. Burks has been limited in offseason workouts due to asthma, and although head coach Mike Vrabel doesn't expect it to be an issue for the rookie, the 22-year-old clearly isn't in top shape. Rookies often struggle to perform consistently early in their first season in the NFL, especially if they aren't getting all the offseason repetitions they can handle. There's a ton of upside for Burks in Year 1 with A.J. Brown gone, but fantasy managers in single-year formats should temper their expectations.
