2 years agoBoston Red Sox top prospect first baseman Triston Casas will be called up from Triple-A Worcester on Sunday. He was placed on the injured list on May 18 and missed a portion of the season with an ankle injury. The 22-year-old was activated from the injured list on July 12. Since returning from the IL, Casas is slashing .309/.416/.537 with six home runs, 19 RBI, and 26 runs across 178 plate appearances in 40 games. Bobby Dalbec will be optioned to Triple-A Worcester in a corresponding move. Casas is expected to be Boston's starting first baseman for the rest of the season and is worth adding in league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
