Triston McKenzie Earns Second Start, Remains In Rotation
4 years agoCleveland Indians right-handed pitcher Triston McKenzie crash landed on the big league scene Saturday, striking out 10 batters in his first career start. That performance led to president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti decreeing Sunday that McKenzie would make another start with the club, although it’s unclear how Cleveland’s rotation will shake out over the coming week. With Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac looming as returnees at some point, McKenzie likely doesn’t have much season-long value. But irrespective of whom he starts against, the righty will be a DFS commodity to consider.
