Triston McKenzie Has Solid AAA Start
3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie pitched 5 1/3 innings while allowing no runs on two hits and two walks and striking out four for AAA Columbus on Sunday. It is nice to see McKenzie working things out in AAA for Columbus as he needs to cut back on the walks to have success at the Major League level. It likely will not be long before he makes his next start for Cleveland as they are still in need of starting pitching, especially after the struggles they have seen from Cal Quantrill, Sam Hentges, and Eli Morgan in recent starts. McKenzie still poses much risk to fantasy players, but the potential is very real.
