4 years agoCleveland Indians pitcher Triston McKenzie has been optioned to the minors following a rough outing against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday. He struggled heavily to find the strike zone and carries a 6.38 ERA and 1.58 WHIP over 42 1/3 innings this season. The Indians will send him to the minors, so he can work on his craft. Cleveland recalled Ernie Clement to take over McKenzie's spot on the active roster. He was hitting nicely in Triple-A, but can be left on the waiver wire until further notice.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
