3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie allowed five earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out three in four innings of work in a 9-3 loss to the Houston Astros Tuesday night. McKenzie had held his own for the first three innings as he allowed just two Jose Altuve solo home runs, but kind of came unraveled in the bottom of the fifth inning. McKenzie did only walk one in this game, which is a great sign for his continued improvement in this department. This was a tough matchup for him and he will almost certainly get a chance to rebound this weekend against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
