Triston McKenzie Struggles With Walks Again Saturday
4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie managed to go just two innings while allowing five earned runs on one hit and four walks with six strikeouts in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox. The walks came back to bite McKenzie once again as he walked four of the first five batters he faced in the second inning before allowing a grand slam to Tim Anderson. McKenzie now has 18 walks in 18 2/3 innings pitched on the season. While the potential is there and he has great strikeout upside, he will need to get the walks under control in order to have more success at the Major League level.
