2 years agoCleveland Guardians starter Triston McKenzie turned in another strong outing on Sunday. Facing the Houston Astros, McKenzie threw eight scoreless frames against Yordan Alvarez and company, giving up just two hits and a walk while striking out eight batters. The right-hander logged a quality 32% CSW rate and generated 17 swinging strikes on 91 pitches thrown. Since the start of July, McKenzie has pitched to a 1.70 ERA, a 2.46 FIP, 48 strikeouts, and just 12 walks in 47.2 innings of work.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
