3 years agoAccording to Zack Meisel, Triston McKenzie will remain in the Indians' rotation after the All-Star break and will make his next start on July 20th at Houston. The matchup is not ideal, but it is good news for McKenzie after dazzling to the tune of one hit and one walk while striking out nine in seven scoreless innings of work in a 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals Friday night. The fact that McKenzie limited his walks to just one is likely what made the Indians decide to keep him around as he had struggled early on by walking 40 batters in his first 49 1/3 innings pitched. He has the potential to be a solid starter in this league and is worth a speculative add, however, he should not be started against the Astros.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
