3 years agoAccording to Mandy Bell of MLB.com, Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie will called up from Triple-A Columbus and take the mound Friday night against the Kansas City Royals. McKenzie has struggled mightily with his command this season, as he has 39 walks through 42 1/3 innings pitched at the big league level. He was optioned to Columbus on June 13 and has compiled a 2.95 ERA with 23 strikeouts through 21 1/3 innings overall. He has the stuff to be a solid starter, though, and the Royals have struggled against right-handed pitching lately, but he still cannot be trusted for fantasy purposes at this point.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
