Troy Tulowitzki In Question For Opening Day
7 years agoThis is a little too early for injury worries, even for the frequently-hampered Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki (heel). Tulo is dealing with a chronic bone spur in his right heel and told the media he’s unsure if he’ll be ready for Opening Day. Of course, Tulo also missed the last two months of the 2017 season due to ligament damage in his right ankle, so it sounds as if he has quite a lot going on there. For fantasy purposes, Tulowitzki is all name value at this point. He hasn’t been an overly productive player in years, and the continuous mounting of injuries certainly hurts whatever inkling there was to draft him. In the event Tulo does miss time, new Blue Jays infielders Yangervis Solarte and Aledmys Diaz should fill the spot and just might perform even better than Tulowitzki.
