Troy Tulowitzki Won’t Be Ready For Opening Day
7 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has been nursing a hamstring injury and won’t be ready for Opening Day, according to manager John Gibbons. Tulowitzki missing time? Surprise, surprise. While we now know for sure Tulo won’t be able to suit up to start the season, he is moving in the right direction while suffering from a chronic bone spur in his right heel. A timetable for Tulowitzki’s return was not offered. Infielders Aledmys Diaz and Yangervis Solarte are the two most realistic options on Toronto’s roster to man the fort at shortstop while Tulowitzki remains out. We’ll provide a timetable once we have one.
