Trumaine Johnson Among Jets Getting Healthier
6 years agoNew York Jets cornerback Trumaine Johnson (hamstring) was able to take part in team drills on Monday after missing the past two days due to a hamstring injury. Starting offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum (foot) and offensive guard Brian Winters (abdomen) were also able to participate in team drills. It's a good sign that the Jets are getting healthier leading up to their all-important third preseason game, as the defense needs Johnson in their secondary. In addition, the offense needs Beachum and Winters to be mainstays on their line, protecting the winner of the Teddy Bridgewater-Sam Darnold quarterback battle.
