4 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart will be behind the dish for Wednesday’s contest against the Chicago Cubs, his first appearance of the 2020 season. Barnhart has been absent due to the birth of his child, having paved the way for Curt Casali to see the vast majority of catching duties. Having adopted a left-handed batting only method moving forward, Barnhart figures to share starts behind the plate with Casali (a right-handed hitter) as the season progresses. All 11 home runs that Barnhart hit last season came against right-handed pitching, making him an intriguing DFS play Wednesday with his bargain price coupled with Great American Ball Park’s propensity for long balls.--Jesse Borek
