2 years agoMinnesota Twins skipper Rocco Baldelli is hoping that outfielder Byron Buxton (knee) will be able to return to the starting lineup on Friday or Saturday against the Colorado Rockies. Buxton is missing his second straight game on Thursday against the Cleveland Guardians due to a sore right knee, but it appears the Twins are just continuing to be extra cautious with the oft-injured outfielder. The 28-year-old is hitting just .228 on the season, but he also has 19 home runs, 33 RBI and 38 runs scored in 51 games, making him a must-start when he's on the field. Fantasy managers will hopefully be able to get him back in their lineups this weekend, but given his track record, you shouldn't be surprised if he's not in there.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
