6 years agoSources have told MLB.com that the Minnesota Twins are open to trading any of their pending free agents ahead of the non-waiver trade deadline at the end of July. Minnesota has lost nine of the past 11 games and continues to lose ground on the AL Central-leading Cleveland Indians. Among the pending free agents who would be available are second baseman Brian Dozier, shortstop Eduardo Escobar, right-hander Lance Lynn, and left-hander Zach Duke. Several teams are looking to upgrade their infields, including the Indians, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Milwaukee Brewers. It appears Minnesota will be one of the more active sellers at the trade deadline this year.--Matt T - RotoBaller
