6 years agoThe Minnesota Twins have released first baseman Chris Carter. Carter had yet to appear in a major league game in 2018, however was hitting .187 with seven home runs and 15 RBI at the minor league level. Carter has always been known for his power, he has 158 career home runs including 48 in 2016. He'll likely latch on with another team for that reason, but there's no proof that Carter will succeed at the major league level again, making him someone to leave on the waiver wire for now--Dan Fappiano
