4 years agoFree-agent infielder/outfielder Danny Santana is drawing interest from the Minnesota Twins. It's unclear what kind of deal Santana would be seeking, though the Twins are reportedly only interested in minor league deals at this point, per Dan Hayes of the Athletic. The 30-year-old struggled with an elbow injury in the shortened 2020 season but is only two years removed from posting a .857 OPS with 28 homers and 21 stolen bases. Santana was originally a prospect in the Twins' organization, so perhaps returning to Minnesota on a prove-it deal is appealing. He'd likely compete for at-bats at third base, at second, and in the outfield if he lands in Minnesota- and could be worth a late-round pick in deep leagues.--Tim Capurso
