4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (intercostal) will make his 2020 debut on Saturday versus the Royals. He'll take Josh Donaldson's place on the roster and is in a favorable matchup for his first start of the season. Odorizzi was placed on the injured list before Opening Day after straining his right intercostal in summer camp but has made a clean recovery. The right-hander threw a 52-pitch sim game on Monday, so he may not be stretched out entirely yet, but it's encouraging to see him return to the lineup nonetheless. His pitch count caps his DFS appeal, but he's worth starting in season-long since he could shut down the well below average Royals offense.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
