Two-Hit Night For Kevin Plawecki In Loss
6 years agoNew York Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki has been relatively quiet after a hot start to 2018, but in a 10-8 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday, he had himself a decent night. Plawecki finished 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and one RBI. It’s the second straight game Plawecki has picked up a hit, and he’s now done so in six of his last eight games. Still, he owns an underwhelming .213/.360/.295 (.655 OPS) slash line with zero home runs, eight runs scored and three RBI on the season. Without much production and playing in a platoon with Devin Mesoraco, there’s zero fantasy value here.
