Two Homers In Three Games For Kevin Pillar
6 years agoThe struggles of Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar after a scorching start to 2018 have been well-documented; he seems to do this pretty much every year. As usual, he’s coming out of it to put up big production once again. In a 13-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday, Pillar finished 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI. The effort was Pillar’s third straight multi-hit game, and he’s now gone deep in two of his last three games – and three times in his last six outings. There’s no doubting Pillar is very fantasy viable when he’s on, but he’s also the complete opposite of “viable” when he’s off. Ride out this hot streak with Pillar for however long it lasts, but if you can sell high when he’s playing like this, it would be advisable to do so.
