4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder/first baseman Dominic Smith continued his blistering hitting on Monday going 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored in the Mets' 11-4 win over Miami. Smith is now batting .310 on the season with six HR and 18 RBI in just 58 at-bats. Over his last six games, Smith is batting .440 with four home runs and 10 RBI in 25 at-bats. Smith has picked up right where he left off in 2019 when he hit .282/.355/.525 with 11 HR and 25 RBI in just 177 at-bats. The Mets will continue to take every opportunity to keep Smith's red hot bat in the lineup either at designated hitter, first base or left field.
